One pocket type folder for papers (not a 3-ring binder)

 

2.      A backpack for carrying things to and from school

 

3.      A supply box (no taller than 2½”) with the following items                   inside:

q        glue stick

q        bottle of Elmer’s type glue

q        scissors (Fiskar - children’s size are preferred)

q        old-white sock for erasing dry erase board

q        markers (8 colors)

q        pencil eraser (oblong pink pearl type)

q        crayons (24 colors)

4.      A beach towel for rest time (no sleeping bags, please)

Supplies for 1st and 2nd Grade 

 

 

q        12 - #2 pencils with erasers (sharpened)

q        1 box of Crayola crayons (48 count or smaller)

q        1 box of water-base Crayola markers (set of 8-not scented)

q        Colored pencil set

q        Water colors (Prang preferable)

q        1 Purple Folder with pockets 1 Green Folder with pockets

q        1 Wide ruled journal or notebook

q        2 glue sticks

q        1 Bottle of Elmers Glue

q        1 pair of metal scissors with a point (5 inches)

q        2 erasers (white or pink type)

q        2 Boxes of Kleenex

q        1 Box of Antibacterial wipes

q        1 Old shirt for painting

q        All God’s People Sing songbook (sold at school)

 

 

 Please do not bring rulers, pens, or toys to school.

 

 3rd and 4th Grade

 

q        5 pencils (buy extra and bring them to class as needed)

q        2 blue pens (bring extra to class as needed)

q        2 red pencils (for grading only, bring extras as needed)

q        Colored pencils and/or markers

q        1 highlighter

q        1 box of crayons (48 count or smaller)

q        2 erasers

q        1 hand-held pencil sharpener (one that collects shavings)

q        2 glue sticks (buy extra and bring them to class as needed)

q        Post-it notes 3”x 3”

q        1 pair of pointed-end scissors

q        1- 12 inch ruler with metric measurements on the opposite side

q        Lined 3” x 5” cards (rubber-banded together)

q        2-gallon size ziploc bags to store supplies or a small pencil box

q        1-4 Composition books (for journal writing)

q        Wide-ruled lined paper

q        1 pocket folder (have back-ups for when it wears out)

q        3-ring binder with dividers (Note: The binder cannot be larger than 10” by 1½” thick in order to fit in the desk)

q        5-grocery store paper bags or store-bought books covers (Note: Please do not purchase any adhesive type book covers.) Book covers or paper bags should be brought to class by Friday, September 5th.

 

q        NIV Bible (sold at school, may use last year’s)

q        All God’s People Sing songbook (sold at school, last year’s o.k.)

q        (Other math tools i.e. a protractor may be requested later, a calculator is optional.)
